Book review. A Year in the Merde, I am re-reading after 5 years since I last read it. I have always love this book, the British humour, and the things he wrote about the French are so "real". I highly recommend to anyone who knows some french or have stayed in france for a while to read it. You can easily relate to Paul West's feelings.
By the way, this is an old book published in 2004, if you have difficulty finding it in a book store, try http://www.betterworld.com/, this is where I got my 2nd hand version (I gave mine one to a girlfriend of mine who speaks some french too), I think they have NEW versions too.
